The last few weeks have been busy, busy, busy. We celebrated Earth Day, last Friday, making our very own bird feeder. We learned all about the parts of a plant and took our District Cumulative Assessments, to show all we have learned this year. The most exciting thing that happened to us is that we received a class letter and pictures from President Obama in reply to the letters we wrote the White House a few months ago! So EXCITING!
Pictures from top to bottom:
pictures and a letter from the Obama family; diagram of the parts of a flower we labeled in the science lab; students looking at parts of a flower under a microscope; making bird feeders out of bird seeds, pinecones we hunted in the courtyard, and sunbutter.
