Students worked very hard and came up with some creative pictures for their "Keep Texas Beautiful," calendar competition entry:
In math students made a model of a 3D shape out of marshmallows and toothpicks. They had a blast and were able to really visualize the math vocabulary (vertices and sides) with this activity:

Writing: Continuation of capitalization and friendly letter writing. Last week we wrote letters to troops, children in the hospital, and President Obama!
